JUNIORS
For Players Year 4 to Year 11
TJ Saracens cater for Junior netballers across all three age groups in the Avon League U12, U14 & U16. For the first time in the 2021/22 season we started catering for younger players too trying their hand at netball for the first time affectionately known as the 'minis'. Our minis & U12 teams train outdoors at the Jubilee Centre on Tuesday evenings and the U14 & U16 teams outdoors at Bradley Stoke Community School. We ensure that every session is taken by a qualified coach and that all safeguarding policies are adhered to at all times.
Unlike the Senior divisions, a pre-season tournament is held for each age group to determine seedings for the season, therefore the number of teams can vary each year.
We welcome players to join training at any time throughout the year, although cannot guarantee a place in the team if joining after trials. Please use the contact form below to get in touch!
New for the 21/22 Season we introduced a 'Minis' section to the club for girls not yet old enough to play for one of our Avon league sides.
Aged 8-11 their sessions are based around non-stop activity and learning the basic skills in a fun environment.
This section of the club is coached by Petra Finkenzeller a level 2 coach who is passionate about making netball available to all and Karen Biddell who has over 10 years experience coaching at this level
Our U12s are coached by two members of our senior club currently Hayley Clements and Ruby Hooper
Matches are played generally every second Sunday from October through April.
Our U14's are also coached by members of the senior club currently Hannah Forrestall and Rosie Sewell
Matches are played generally every second Sunday from October through April. We currently field 2 U14 teams.
U16 are coached by Karen Leach, Charlotte Dunt and Eve Adcroft. We currently field 2 U16 teams. This section of Juniors is a great feeder to the Senior section of the club with a number of players also representing Seniors in Div 6 & 10 of the Avon League
